Recycle batteries! Often Walgreens has battery recycling stations, where you can just drop off your batteries, and they will recycle them properly! <3

Did you try to look it up on your town's recycling/waste removal website? If you can't find the info there, then you can actually call them to ask (that's right - call and talk to an actual person - amazing, isn't it??!!).

The TREE group is addressing just this problem this year with their anti-plastic bag campaign...Check our group site out 2 weeks from now, and we'll have a lot more information about the project.

if you go out to the store alot why not bring one of your own bags. i buy cheep nylon bags at the a&p and even at your favorite clothing store, to put my moms groceries in them instead of using a plastic bag that can harm the economy. it saves animals from suffocating in the ocean and also saves you from throwing out bags. so think about it and buy one! :)
