Going Green….It’s Easy!

This Girl Scout organized a section of a holiday bazaar that focused on the theme of going green. She partnered with a variety of organizations to teach individuals about ways they could help the environment in their daily lives through interactive booths. Visitors exercised their own creativity by “upcycling”: making new things such as photo frames and magnets from used opjects. Dipona also created information that provided instructions for these types of crafts along with educational information, which has been distributed to local schools. She has even been invited into some elementary classrooms to demonstrate.
