Location: Strongsville, Ohio, USA

Team Members: Max Ozimek

The Obia Uganda Solar Cooking Project brings solar cookers, fuel-efficient stoves, and heat-retaining devices to Obia-Zeu, Uganda. Max is only in eighth grade, but helps provide instruction, training, and start-up materials to a diverse group of individuals interested in finding and promoting ways to reduce fuel costs, firewood consumption, and the rate of deforestation. He also helped instruct the community on solar water pasteurization and water testing methods.
