The Wetlands Education Team (WET) engages their community in a variety of activities that raise environmental and conservation awareness. They work to preserve wetlands by building bird boxes and nesting platforms, as well as lobbying for the Spotted Salamander to be designated as Ohio’s state amphibian. They have also built outdoor classrooms, created educational materials, and presented to many different types of audiences in a variety of settings.
