Reducing deforestation to save critically endangered Cross River gorilla from extinction
Project Description
The adult adviser involved children and youth living within Cross River gorilla ranges in south-eastern Nigeria on awareness campaign against the hunting of endangered species for bush meat, wrong farming practices and inter-schools competitions to create understanding about how the ecosystem function. He also involve teens on non-timber forest product domestication, tree planting in degraded areas of land and campaign against littering
